Reilly thought he was going on a field trip in the good ole XF 2 minivan yesterday. He would later learn, but not understand, that he was staying with Nannie and Grandpa for the weekend while Shad and I headed to the Bay Area for a wedding. We packed all of his creatures of comforts and sent Nannie away with enough stuff for a month – but hey you can never over-prepare. I had one request, as cruel as it sounds, I requested that when his face bruises from the incident at Cafe on the Oval I would like a photo for his baby book. Mother of the Year that I am! 🙂
