We had fun playing with all Grandma Kasey’s things throughout the week. I found them to be wonderful props and Kate found them to be wonderful toys. She has since been discussing her princess house and her tea party with the bears. Girls just have the best imaginations when it comes to “house” play. Kate and Shea (at almost 2) would sit and talk to animals, pretend restaurant patrons and on the phone for quite some time. I think they prefer not talking to someone who will talk back to them, that way they have the control and the keep it. It seems to me whenever a problem arises it’s because someone else “showed up”, otherwise they could be at the “restaurant” for hours on end. (which is candy through my lens and pure entertainment otherwise.
