The kids are fans, but they are not sure why other than the fact that Mom plays soccer 2x/week and Dad coaches.

Kate and I started watching the New Zealand v Slovakia game at 7:45 this morning. The World Cup doesn’t mean that much to her but she did want to ask questions, here are a few:

Which color shirts do we like better?

Which team is from our state?

How come they are all boys?

Can we go watch this game not on tv?

All valid questions for a five year old. She was much more interested in laying on the couch and showing me the princesses on her nightgown.
