I have recently decided that I don’t think I am a very “fun Mom”. I think I want to figure out how to make a bigger deal of things for the kids so they are more special to them. Whether it’s losing a tooth, an egg hunt at Easter, summer vacation, someone’s birthday, Christmas or one of the other many occasions to celebrate in life. I think we have a good time but sometimes I think I push my ideals on them. I’m 41 and they are 7, 5 and 2. They just want to enjoy, get excited about things and be happy. I often wonder if I am good enough at doing these things. It’s top of mind these days…
