Shea and I were headed to school and this was our “one-sided” conversation:

Owww, Mom, the sun is in my eyes. It’s hurting my eyes. I guess the sun has waked up. She must be done sleeping. Do you think she is done sleeping? What time does she wake up? How does the sun eat breakfast?

Of course my reply was along the lines of “Haven’t you seen that Jimmy Dean sausage commercial? That’s how the sun and the clouds eat.” NO NO… that’s not what I said… I just smiled and told her it wouldn’t hurt if she looked out the other window because yes, the sun was up to say good morning!
