We found this cool new app on the ipad that helps the kids study for their spelling tests. It’s called Super Speller. You can customize their words each week, record you voice so they can listen and spell. They can even do a word search or unscramble the letters. Kate’s this week have a long e sound. Feet, Mean, Bean, Beet, Be, Me… etc. I sat with Kate as she went through her “games” to work on her words. After she finishes each quiz once she turns to me and says “I’m going to spell my favorite word… ME!” I laughed at her and she said “I mean Be… Be… that’s my favorite word.”

I laughed again but I don’t really think she was kidding the first time. 🙂
