Kate has been sick as a dog for a couple weeks. Her fever broke over the weekend and she hasn’t had one since but she is lethargic and coughing yet oddly happy and perky. She gets up and is as happy as can be and crashes at dinnertime – she’s pooped. I admire her energy and burning desire to be at school and be social even when she’s not feeling up to snuff. She is so much like Shad that way…. NOT! LOL.

Anyway, I love this photo of her because she is so free with her style. Perhaps it’s an age thing but I love it and embrace it anyway.
